Soap and water with a light scrubbing will clean off most residue. After extended use, white vinegar will restore the bands back to new.

Yes absolutely. A note about using the dishwasher, heat from the dishwasher may cause writing to become permanent. We recommend erasing any information you may not want to be permanent.  

Using any ballpoint pen, write on the bands and submerge in boiling water for at least 30 seconds. We have a video on how to do this, so check it out. Please do not use a ballpoint pen daily, when you reheat a bottle, the pen will not come off. .
